Bruce J. Cannon
Bruce Cannon concentrates on intellectual property law and has experience in litigation, licensing, managing intellectual property portfolios, counseling, and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, particularly in the areas of electrical, computer, software, mechanical, and electro-mechanical. He has represented clients in patent litigation, trademark litigation, trade secret litigation, oppositions, cancellations, Internet issues, domain name disputes, and a broad spectrum of other intellectual property matters.
Bruce is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Bruce received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003. He received a J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2006.
Prior to joining Sutton McAughan Deaver PLLC, Bruce was an associate at Locke Lord LLP.
